About Us - The Keepers

Authentic '60s Rock
A short history of the Keepers
We see ourselves as protectors of the sound of rock music of the 60’s and early 70’s. Formed in late 2002, the band started as a quartet consisting of a drummer (John ), two guitarists (Tim and Tom) and a bassist (Bill). We later grew into a quintet with the addition of guitarist Aaron. We enjoy playing the rock music we grew up with and always look forward to playing events/parties/clubs, etc.
The Musicians:

John (Drums): "My inspiration comes from Charlie Watts, Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner, and a little Ginger Baker thrown in to spice it up. Minimal, musical, and driving drums. Like God intended them to be."

Tom (Guitar, Vocals): "There's something reassuring about the fact that I still sing the same songs that I sang as a kid."

Tim (Guitar, Vocals): I think George said it best: “We who love music love the people who make it, we love the sound of it, and we love what it does to us, how it makes us feel, how it helps us love.”

Bill (Bass, unofficial guru): "We're all just standing in the middle of the world, some people are taking taxi cabs, others shooting squirrels; me, I never wanted to wreck nobody's soul, all I ever wanted to do is rock 'n roll."

Aaron ( lead guitar ) Newest member of the Keepers, a guitar-slinger in the spirit of Freddie King.
